Minimum Requirements

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

• Bachelors degree and Diploma in HRM

• Masters degree will be an added advantage

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong negotiation and organization skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Good leadership skills

• At least 7 years relevant experience, with 3 years at management level

In order to support its fast modernisation initiatives, talent development and enhancement of shareholder value, the company is seeking to recruit a talented, innovative and result-oriented individual. The position will be based in Kericho and will play a key role in ensuring KETEPA’s objectives are met.

PERMANENT TERMS

Reporting to the Managing Director, the purpose of this position is to formulate and implement Human Resources and Administration strategies to ensure increased return on human capital investment, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Broad Function:

Overseeing the effective implementation of the HR policies on all matters relating to the HR and Administration function in the company.

Key responsibilities

· Implementing value adding people management policies, procedures and strategies in line with

the company business goals.

· Reviewing and communicating the company’s manpower requirements and ensuring proper utilization of human capital.

Overseeing the recruitment and selection process in the company;
Coordinating the implementation of the performance management process;
Overseeing in implementation of industrial relations matters and the staff disciplinary process
Coordinating the CBA negotiation and implementation process;
Developing and or identifying training programmes for new and serving employees of the
Company;
Ensuring effective administration of the staff welfare activities.
Developing and implementing appropriate policies and procedures for effective management of company property and delivery of office services.
Coordinating the preparation and analysis of various HR reports for management and Board decision.
